Grief is something every community carries — but how we carry it varies. How we mourn, how we sit with dying, which words we reach for across faith lines: these are not shared instincts. They are learned, and too rarely shared.
Rites of Us is a two-day public festival bringing Singapore’s communities into the same space — to understand each other’s practices, tell stories of loss across traditions, and leave a little more prepared to care for one another.
Common Ground Civic Centre · plan your day by time and venue — tap any session for details. Times below are confirmed; a few extra sessions (Grief Café, Immersive Experience, and more) are still being finalised and will appear here once locked in.
Advance registration via BookMyShow (BMS) is required for every session — including the free ones — due to venue capacity limits. Unregistered attendees may be turned away once capacity is reached.
All other festival events are free and open to the public.
